Abstract

L'invention concerne un tube à décharge dans un gaz, notamment dispositif de protection contre les surtensions. Dans ce dispositif, qui comporte un boîtier isolant tubulaire 1 et deux dispositifs de fermeture constituant des électrodes 2, 3 situées en vis-à-vis et comportant des raccords extérieurs 4, 5, au moins deux surfaces actives en vis-à-vis des électrodes sont des surfaces parallèles entre elles et présentant une symétrie de rotation par rapport à leur axe et sont d'une étendue supérieure à la surface en coupe transversale perpendiculairement à l'axe et font au moins partie de surfaces coniques; leur angle d'ouverture est compris entre 0 et 180 degrés . Application notamment aux appareils de protection contre les surtensions à tension continue de réponse stable.
