Abstract

Cuve de four à arc. Cette cuve présente dans sa partie supérieure 2 une boîte à refroidissement 2' réalisée sous la forme d'une structure de support. La boîte à refoidissement 2' présente avantageusement la forme d'un récipient annulaire comportant un orifice d'arrivée 8 et un orifice d'écoulement 9 pour l'eau de refroidissement. La fonction de support de la partie supérieure 2 de la cuve et la fonction de refroidissement de la boîte à refroidissement 2' sont réunies en un seul et même élément de construction. Application aux fours à arc.
