Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un nouveau matériau à partir d'un produit siliceux se présentant sous forme de fines particules. Il consiste à soumettre ces fines particules siliceuses à une élévation rapide en température entre 800 degrés C et 1200 degrés C dans des conditions propres à former par fusion pyroplastique une pellicule visqueuse 2 autour de chaque particule sans modifier sensiblement l'état solide du noyau intérieur 3, puis après soudure des pellicules pour former un réseau visqueux emprisonnant les noyaux solides, à refroidir l'ensemble pour solidifier ce réseau L'invention est en particulier applicable pour fabriquer en un laps de temps très court des éléments de construction bénéficiant de qualités de résistance mécanique équivalentes ou supérieures à celles des bétons.
