Abstract

The fence post comprises a base piece, a stem and a cranked head, the connections being of a spring clipping telescopic type. The base has a circular horizontal flange separating an embeddable length from a spigot, the flange having holes for driven anchor pins and the spigot having segmental projections at regular vertical intervals on the three contiguous faces. The stem slides telescopically onto the spigot, having outstanding cut and cranked rectangular flaps which locate spigot projections to lock the connection. The head also presents a spigot which joins the stem in a similar manner, and post stays may hook onto wire collars which are bolted to the stem at the required height.
