Abstract

a. L'invention concerne un procédé pour la fabrication de noir de carbone du type dit << Furnace >>. b. On fait brûler les gaz usés au moyen d'air secondaire dans un dispositif de combustion afin d'amener l'air de réaction à des températures comprise entre 600 et 1 250 degrés C avant de l'introduire dans le procédé. c. Ce procédé permet d'économiser une partie importante de l'énergie thermique utilisée pour chauffer l'air de réaction tout en augmentant nettement la production horaire de noir et le rendement de l'huile.
