Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et des moyens prévus pour l'obtention de faisceaux électroniques énergétiques sous forme de bandes longitudinales étroites sous des angles différents et dans des directions différentes. Suivant une forme de réalisation, autour de la cathode émettrice d'électrons 1 développée longitudinalement est disposée une pluralité d'éléments concentriques cylindriques 3, 11, 12, également développés longitudinalement, et respectivement percés d'orifices affectant la forme de fentes longitudinales étroites coïncidant radialement 7-7', 13-13', 14-14', à travers lesquelles passent les électrons, avant de franchir les fenêtres 17 et 17' formées d'un matériau perméable aux électrons, pour venir frapper les objets P-P' soumis à l'irradiation. Applications : irradiation, en particulier stérilisation de surfaces et d'objets dans des conditions d'uniformité et de simultanéité d'action maximum.
