Abstract

The locking clip is fitted on the pivot at the end of a windscreen wiper arm. The arm (1) is a metal strip of rectangular section. Near its end is a cylindrical hole (3) mating a cylindrical boss (4). The end piece (2) is of moulded plastics and forms part of the blade pivot. When the arm is fully in position the boss is in line with another opening (6) in the end piece opening (5). Between these two openings is a latch form of closure.
