Abstract

Coupleur directionnel pour système de télécommunication à fibres optiques. Il comprend une section de fibre optique à trois couches, courbée à 90 degrés sur une partie dépouillée du revêtement extérieur 1. La courbure est enrobée dans un bloc de matériau transparent 4 ayant un indice de réfraction au moins égal à celui du revêtement interne 3 et terminé par une lentille 5 de même axe que l'extrémité revêtue de la section de fibre. La lumière injectée par cette extrémité peut ainsi pénétrer dans le bloc 4 et être concentrée sur un photodétecteur extérieur 8. Application comme élement d'un égaliseur optique transversal.
