Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil destiné à produire un diagnostic en matière de fonctionnement d'un moteur. Il comprend un premier transducteur 10 placé dans le goulot de remplissage d'huile 14 d'un moteur 9 afin de transformer la forme d'onde de pression du carter-moteur en un signal électrique ayant une composante de fréquence proportionnelle au régime du moteur. Un second transducteur 52 est placé de façon à transformer une forme d'onde de pression d'échappement émise par le moteur en une forme d'onde électrique dont la composante de fréquence est représentative d'un defaut de fonctionnement du moteur pour une fréquence proportionnelle au régime du moteur. L'invention permet d'obtenir des mesures de la vitesse de rotation du moteur, du calage, de l'allumage, de la compression, etc., dans les moteurs à combustion interne à deux ou quatre temps.
