Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil de mesure ultrasonore des concentrations de contraintes dans des objets étudiés. L'appareil comprend un arrangement de transducteurs ultrasonores destinés à provoquer la propagation d'ondes acoustiques dans l'objet étudié, suivant plusieurs directions déterminables et à partir de plusieurs positions déterminables. Un compteur mesure le temps de vol des ondes acoustiques. Ces mesures sont ensuite reconstituées sous forme d'une carte des variations de vitesse acoustique dans l'objet. Les variations de vitesse acoustique sont ensuite transformées mathématiquement en une carte des zones de concentrations de contraintes. Application aux essais non destructifs des récipients sous pression.
