Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de mesure d'une caractéristique d'un fil, avec un étalonnage automatique. Le fil passe dans un pont capacitif dont le signal de sortie est démodulé et appliqué à un circuit d'étalonnage automatique. Le fil est sorti périodiquement du capteur et un détecteur détecte le fait et déclenche une séquence de compensation automatique de zéro et une séquence de compensation automatique de gain dans lesquelles des signaux numériques de compensation sont produits et mémorises. Ces signaux sont ensuite combinés avec le signal de mesure de manière à obtenir un signal qui est une mesure absolue précise d'une caractéristique du fil. L'invention s'applique notamment à la mesure de la finesse d'un fil exprimée en deniers.
