Abstract

Collector comprises a tube feeding cold heat transfer fluid, a tube receiving heated heat transfer fluid, a tube through which heat transfer fluid circulates, and a transparent partition placed between the circulation tube and the source of radiation. The partition forms a sleeve around the circulation tube insulating it from the ambient air. The circulation tube is pref. closed at one end and the cold feed tube and the hot water receiving tube are constituted by a single tube, the inlet and outlet being at the open end of the circulation tube. The sleeve has pref. the form of a tube closed at the bottom, the circulating tube passing through the open top provided with fluid-tight joints. The sleeve has a longitudinal reflecting band on its rear face which does not receive solar radiation directly.
