Abstract

Installation de forme allongée capable de flotter à la surface d'une étendue d'eau et qui, sans être complétement immergée, demeure au contact de l'eau sur toute sa longueur même lorsque l'état de cette surface d'eau se modifie constamment. Chacun des ensembles flottants 14 est muni d'un cylindre 16 à air comprimé ou à gaz carbonique comprimé, ce cylindre étant monté sur la paroi extrême, à l'extrémité de l'ensemble 14, dans la cavité comprise entre cet ensemble 14 et l'ensemble 14 voisin. La sortie de gaz de chacun des cylindres 16 communique avec l'intérieur de l'ensemble flottant 14, correspondant au moyen d'un tube approprié (non représenté) qui traverse la paroi de cet ensemble 14. Chacun des cylindres 16 est équipé d'une soupape de commande de secours à cordon de traction. Application aux barrières flottantes.
