Abstract

dispositif de sécurité destiné à arrêter le fonctionnement d'un générateur de calories fonctionnant au gaz, du type comportant un corps de chauffe muni d'un échangeur, plus particulièrement d'un chauffe-eau, chauffe-bains, chaudière de chauffage central à eau chaude, dans lequel l'alimentation en gaz du brûleur est interrompue par suite d'une augmentation du taux d'oxyde de carbone dans les produits de la combustion, résultant d'un encrassement de l'echangeur ou d'une surcharge au brûleur, ce dispositif étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un tube de prélèvement des produits de combustion, débouchant à son extrémité supérieure dans le corps de chauffe, et à son extrémité inférieure, à proximité de la veilleuse, sous le thermocouple de la soupape principale d'admission de gaz aux brûleurs, ce tube alimentant partiellement ladite veilleuse en air saturé en CO2 afin que sa flamme ne décolle que dans la zone où est chauffé le thermocouple commandant cette soupape principale, cette flamme restant accrochée dans la zone complémentaire afin d'assurer la sécurité d'allumage.
