Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un alliage de soudure à l'étain sous forme de barres extrudées ou de lingots coulés revêtus d'une couche d'un matériau qui empêche l'oxydation lors du stockage et du fonctionnement du bain de soudure. L'alliage est à peu près entièrement recouvert d'une matière de revêtement qui comprend au moins un ester neutre d'un polyalcool, l'ester ayant une masse moléculaire d'au moins 300 et au moins un ester d'une colophane ou d'une colophane modifiée, avec éventuellement incorporation d'un agent mouillant et d'un agent de ténacité. Dans le bain de soudure, le revêtement fond et forme à la surface du bain une couche de protection contre l'oxydation et il peut également jouer le rôle de fondant
