Abstract
L'invention concerne la production des moules de sable pour la fonderie. Avant son introduction dans un mélangeur (avec une résine de liaison et un catalyseur pour former un mélange bien fluide destiné à fabriquer des moules), le sable réfractaire est refroidi, entre son réservoir et le mélangeur, par contact avec un milieu de refroidissement (gaz liquéfie ou solidifié ou sa vapeur) dont la température est égale ou inférieure à - 20 degrés C, afin de maintenir ce sable à une température inférieure à une valeur choisie. Application : réalisation de moules ou de parties (noyaux) en sable réfractaire pour la coulée de métaux.
