Abstract

Générateur d'air chaud constitué de plaques de fonte assemblées entre elles et de tôles d'acier découpées et pliées pour venir s'appuyer sur des éléments plans allongés dont sont munies les plaques, perpendiculairement à leur surface, de façon à former un conduit plat fermé. Une première portion horizontale de conduit 1, munie d'un tiroir 14 qui sert de cendrier et d'organe réglable et d'amenée d'air extérieur, forme le foyer et une chambre de préchauffage de l'air. Deux portions verticales 2 et 3, servent de chambres de ralentissecment et de chauffage. La seconde portion verticale 3 est constituée par la face d'un avaloir de fonte moulée 4 qui permet le fonctionnement traditionnel de la cheminée.
