Abstract

Un cylindre de roue comporte un alésage refermé par deux pistons pour définir une chambre de pression. La chambre de pression est divisée en deux compartiments par un élément de séparation disposé dans l'alésage et dans lequel est prévu un passage mettant en communication les deux compartiments. L'un des compartiments est relié à une source de pression de fluide, et une valve de contrôle est disposée dans le passage pour moduler la pression dans l'autre compartiment en fonction de la pression dans le premier compartiment. Le cylindre de roue agit comme un régulateur de freinage.
