Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de production d'une fonte vermiculaire. Il consiste: a. à former un bain en fusion proche de l'eutectique ayant une teneur en soufre inférieure à 0,025 % en poids; b. à ajouter à ce bain un additif contenant au moins un élément de terres rares pour former des oxysulfures de terres rares stables en réduisant ainsi l'activité de Henry du soufre dans le bain en fusion à une valeur d'environ 0,004 à 0,035; et c. à laisser ce bain en fusion se solidifier.
