Abstract

Prothèse destinée à être fixée sans ciment dans le tissu osseux et dont la structure de la surface de l'élément de fixation est constituée de multiples bossages ou de multiples alvéoles. Les bossages ou les alvéoles sont en forme de glands et leurs transitions à une surface située à un niveau initial sont exemptes d'angles et d'arêtes. Par ailleurs, la hauteur de ces bossages ou la profondeur des alvéoles ainsi que leur distance relative ont des dimensions comprises dans des limites étroites par rapport à la cote la plus petite de leur section transversale qui peut par ailleurs être arbitraire. Application aux prothèses dont la fixation est essentiellement assurée par le tissu osseux spongieux qui pénètre dans les alvéoles par croissance.
