Abstract
The drying system for liquid or pasty substances has a pulsation chamber (1) with a ventilator for introducing a fuel and air mixture, followed by resonant discharge section. The substances are injected down the middle by an injection jet (8) and enter a larger diameter drying chamber (4). A side connection carries a cyclone (5) with an extraction tube (6) one end and a collector vessel at the other end. Shock waves are generated in the burner chamber. The maximum energy of the shock waves takes place at the injection point (8). Two shock waves can be produced and drying takes place at their junction. At the junction point, perforated grids can be incorporated. These grids can be reciprocated axially by a drive unit. Screw shaped guides can be located behind the grids to give a swirling effect.
