Abstract
Electrical energy generation comprises (1) a cathode which is satd. with >=1 metallic hydroxide and/or oxide and is immersed in an alkaline electrolyte; (2) a micro-perforated membrane acting as separator; (3) an absorber-distributor of liq. analyte consisting of one or more metals in soln. in an alkaline electrolyte, which contacts the surface of the anode, which acts as current collector, (4) opt. a micro-perforated membrane permeable to ions; and (5) an auxiliary metal anode of one or more of the metals in soln. in the anolyte, plying part of anode of an accumulator. These elements are arranged in this order in successive layers, the cathode common to the functions of generator and accumulator being regenerated by a current of air and/or oxygen emulsified with the electrolyte, and by removal and recovery of used anolyte. The generator provides an autonomous electrical energy and ensures at the same time provision of energy and electrical power.
