Abstract
A constant velocity joint includes a driven member (6) having three radial arms (5). Each arm has a spherical roller (4) which engages a slot (3) in the spherical housing (2) forming the end of the driving shaft (1). Teeth (8) formed on the rim of the hub (7) of the driven member (6) engage splines (9) in the bore of the wheel (12). This method of transmitting the drive to the wheel increases the angle through which the wheel axis can be turned.
