Abstract

This container is composed of a base (1) made from a rigid heat-insulating material, having a smooth and hard outer surface (2) and a lightweight and low-density alveolate inner mass (3), of a thermoformed sheet (8), to be disposed of after use, superposed at the base in order to contain the various hot and/or cold dishes which make up the meal, of a film (10) for covering over the thermo-formed sheet and hermetically sealing the compartments containing the various dishes, and of a lid (11) produced from heat-insulating material identical to that used for the base. This container meets all requirements in the field of public hygiene, guaranteeing perfect preservation at required temperatures of the prepared meals and the cleanliness of the utensils and the food.
