[ 5 7] ABSTRACT A bag adapted to be carried by a strap and having two main compartments. The first compartment carries food, diapers and the like. The second compartment carries a pail for receiving soiled diapers with a lid carrying a deodorant. The bag can also have a plurality of exteriorly disposed zippered pockets.
3 Claims, 2 Drawing Figures Patented Sept. 18, 1973 INVENTORS JOHN H. BOSTICK IVORY SBOSTICK CARRIER FOR SOILEI) DIAPERS FIELD OF THE INVENTION We have invented a new bag conveniently carried by a strap, which can carry used or soiled diapers conveniently and hygienically while also carrying clean diapers as well as baby food and other items. Our bag also eliminates odors and has other advantages as will be apparent hereinafter.
SUMMARY To this end, our bag has two main separated internal compartments as well as a plurality of exteriorally disposed zippered storage pockets. One compartment can carry a plurality of bottles of milk or the like, held upright to prevent spilling or leaks, as well as clean diapers and other items. Small items, frequently used, such as tissues and the like, can be disposed in the pockets. The other main compartment can carry a pail with a sealing lid. Soiled diapers can be disposed in thepail, with the advantages indicated. The lid can carry a suitable deodorant or the like.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS In the drawings:
FIG. 1 is a partially exploded perspective of our invention; and
FIG. 2 is a section taken along line 22 in FIG. 1.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Referring now to FIGS. 1-2, there is shown a hollow container formed of suitable flexible material and having upper and lower compartments l and 12 spaced apart by a horizontal partition 14. The container has a carrying strap 16 adjustable by buckle 18. The top or upper compartment is accessible via a top disposed zippered lid 20. The bottom compartment is accessible via side disposed zippered lid 22.
The outer surface of the container carries a plurality of spaced zippered pockets 24 which can carry paper tissues and other items. Compartment 10 carries a vertical stack of folded clean diapers 26 as well as horizontal rings or clips 28 holding baby milk bottles 30 in vertical upright positions without spilling or leaking.
Compartment 12 carries a removable plastic pail 32 with a hinged sealing lid 34 carrying replaceable deodorant 36 and adapted to receive and store soiled diapers.
While we have described our invention with particular reference to the drawings, such is not to be considered as limiting its actual scope.
Having thus described this invention, what is asserted as new is:
l. A bag comprising:
a hollow flexible container having a horizontal interior partition dividing the container into upper and lower compartments, the upper compartment being accessible by a top lid, the lower compartment being accessible by a side disposed lid;
a plurality of spaced pockets disposed on the outside of the container in positions remote from the lids;
said lids being zippered; and
a pail with a lid containing deoderant is disposed in the lower compartment to store soiled diapers.
2. A bag as set forth in claim 1, wherein said upper compartment has means to support milk bottles in vertical upright position.
3. A bag as set forth in claim 2, wherein said upper compartment carries a vertical stack of clean folded diapers.

Claims (3)

1. A bag comprising: A HOLLOW FLEXIBLE CONTAINER HAVING A HORIZONTAL INTERIOR PARTITION DIVIDING THE CONTAINER INTO UPPER AND LOWER COMPARTMENTS, THE UPPER COMPARTMENT BEING ACCESSIBLE BY A TOP LID, THE LOWER COMPARTMENT BEING ACCESSIBLE BY A SIDE DISPOSED LID; A PLURALITY OF SPACED POCKETS DISPOSED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CONTAINER IN POSITIONS REMOTE FROM THE LIDS; SAID LIDS BEING ZIPPERED; AND A PAIL WITH A LID CONTAINING DEODERANT IS DISPOSED IN THE LOWER COMPARTMENT TO STORE SOILED DIAPERS.
2. A bag as set forth in claim 1, wherein said upper compartment has means to support milk bottles in vertical upright position.
3. A bag as set forth in claim 2, wherein said upper compartment carries A vertical stack of clean folded diapers.
