Abstract
La présente invention concerne le domaine des membranes poreuses. La membrane poreuse séchée de l'invention est en polymère d'acrylonitrile à porosité ouverte; cette membrane comprend au moins une couche superficielle formant corps avec une couche de support, au moins une des couches superficielles ayant des pores de 0,001 à 0,05 micron tandis que la couche de support a des pores de dimensions supérieures aux dimensions des pores de la ou des couches superficielles, et ladite membrane ayant une porosité de 20 % à 70 % en volume et une fragilité en dessous de 30. Ces membranes sont utilisées comme séparateurs de batterie d'accumulateurs au plomb.
