Abstract

L'invention concerne un frein à disque comportant deux patins de friction disposés sur les côtés opposés d'un disque rotatif, un organe de support pouvant être fixé à une partie non rotative d'un véhicule et supportant les deux patins coulissant dans la direction de l'axe du disque, une mâchoire supportée coulissante dans la même direction sur l'organe de support et ayant un piston pour presser un patin contre le disque et une branche pour presser l'autre, et un ressort des pistons disposé entre la mâchoire et les patins. Selon l'invention, l'autre patin 9 peut être démonté de l'organe de support 1 en le déplaçant dans la direction le séparant du disque d'une quantité prédéterminée; la mâchoire 5 peut être déplacée d'une quantité dépassant la première dans la direction séparant la branche 5b du disque; et le ressort 17 des patins a une première partie de retenue 17d engageant l'organe de support et une seconde partie de retenue 17f engageant l'autre patin pour limiter son déplacement. L'invention s'applique notamment aux freins pour motocyclettes.
