Abstract

Anti-corrosion agents contains a phospho amino lipid (I) or an amino deriv. thereof. Used for prevention of corrosion in equipment used to store animal feeds, particularly silage, in the presence of acid preservatives. (I) is known to be non-toxic to animals. Generally 10-3000 ppm of (I) is used, based on the weight of acid preservative, typically formic acid. Pref. (I) are lecithin, oleyl sarcosinic acid, or an oleyl sarcosinate.
