Abstract

a. L'invention concerne un multiplicateur ou transformateur de pression opérant en fonction de la charge. b. Il comporte un premier piston 3 chargé par la pression d'entrée, un second piston coaxial relié au premier et ayant une surface d'admission variable en fonction de la course et une soupape double 8, 10, 12 contrôlant la pression d'évacuation dans une chambre d'évacuation 16, le siège de soupape 12 étant réglable axialement en fonction de la charge alors que le second siège de soupape 8 est prévu sur les pistons 3 et 5. Ce dernier, chargé par la pression d'évacuation, agit à l'encontre du piston 3 et est chargé par une pression pilote. Dans une section transversale 4 reliant les pistons 3 et 5 est prévu un troisième piston coaxial 33 chargé dans le même sens que le premier piston 3 par la pression pilote, à l'encontre d'un ressort 39. Le troisième piston 33 commande une soupape pilote double 23, 24, 31 contrôlant la pression pilote et son élément de soupape d'admission 23, 24 contrôle une ouverture 23 du premier piston 3 alors que l'élément de soupape d'évacuation 24, 31 est prévu pour être relié à l'atmosphère. c. Application aux installations de freins pour véhicules routiers.
