Abstract

1,023,995. Fluid pressure brakes. BENDIX CORPORATION. May 7, 1963 [May 25, 1962], No. 18061/63. Heading F2F. [Also in Division F1] A motor vehicle hydraulic braking system, Fig. 1 (not shown), comprises a low pressure pump 11 supplying hydraulic fluid, to a low pressure inlet port 22 of an intensifier 10 (see Division F1) having a high pressure outlet port connected to an accumulator 15 and an auxiliary high pressure outlet port 28 connected to a full power brake valve 17 controlled by a brake pedal 19. A brake valve exhaust port 30 is located in the intensifier housing and communicates with a return port 24 through a bore in the intensifier 10 containing a pressure regulating valve adapted to maintain a substantially constant low pressure supply from the inlet port 22 to the intensifier.
