Abstract

Une suspension d'essieu s'appliquant particulièrement aux remorques, comporte une poutre allongée, sensiblement rigide 5, un soufflet pneumatique 7 situé à une extrémité de la poutre 5, une chaise suspendue 9 située à l'autre extrémité de la poutre 5, des moyçns 17 de liaison de l'essieu rigidement reliés à la poutre 5 et à l'essieu 15 et une structure de fourrures élastomères située à ou près de la liaison à pivot entre la chaise suspendue et la poutre, présentant un degré différent de flexion dans le sens de la poutre et dans le sens de la chaise; cet essieu est suffisamment rigide pour assurer une stabilité de la suspension et est suffisamment souple pour permettre à des flexions de se produire en réponse aux efforts provenant des articulations de la suspension pour maintenir sensiblement constante la distance entre la chaise suspendue et les moyens de liaison de l'essieu
