Abstract

The brush is designed such that wiping plates (2) provided at their free ends with fringes (3) are secure on the outer casing of a supporting tube (1) - in the direction of the outer casing line, or in helical formation - approximately tangential to the surface of the outer casing and succeeding one another at intervals. The wiping plates can either be secured on supporting pieces (4) by being sewn and folded and arranged on the supporting tube, or can be arranged directly on the supporting tube by means of bonding. This brush is easy to produce and has a long service life. The bearing pressure is guaranteed to be optimal, and the light-sensitive layer of the copier element is not damaged.
