Abstract

The magnet system and one or more changeover spring sets are accommodated in a housing. The changeover spring sets consist of a fixed centre contact and of one or more switching springs whose connecting ends are firmly clamped in the housing and whose other ends are fixed in recesses in the housing, and have strips which can be bent by the magnetic armature and is trimmed as a restoring element for the magnetic armature and the switching contact carrier. For simple and accurate adjustment of the contact pressures and of the restoring force, the switching springs (6, 7) are split by means of a longitudinal slot (9) into two longitudinal strips (6'', 7'', 6''', 7'''). One of the longitudinal strips (6'', 7'') is fixed on the housing (1) by means of the end facing away from the connecting end, and the other longitudinal strip (6''', 7''') can pivot away freely and carries the switching contact (11). The longitudinal strips (6''', 7''') which carry the contacts are supported by prestresses, which are equal and opposite or are opposite and of different magnitude, on a plunger (5) which can be displaced by the magnetic armature (4), and hold the magnetic armature (4) in the quiescent position.
