Abstract

Assemblage combustible composite pour un réacteur nucléaire surrégénérateur refroidi par liquide comprenant un conduit polygonal métallique à parois minces, orienté verticalement et une pluralité d'éléments combustibles allongés s'étendant ensemble parallèlement, étroitement disposés à l'intérieur de ce conduit en un faisceau de forme sensiblement la même en section transversale que ce conduit, les éléments combustibles comportant une pluralité d'éléments surrégénérateurs et une pluralité d'éléments nourriciers, assemblage caractérisé en ce que les éléments surrégénérateurs 30 ont une section transversale plus importante que les éléments nourriciers 28 et que chaque élément surrégénérateur 30 est entouré par une sous-pluralité des éléments nourriciers 28, la totalité de ces éléments nourriciers 28 possédant du combustible fissionnable sensiblement de même enrichissement.
