Abstract

Shoe soles are made as a composite moulding or assembly of a rigid material and a semi-rigid material to form the heel and instep and the base of the shoe respectively. The components may be moulded or machines, may be fastened or stuck together or overmoulded. The structure provides the support and stability necessary for the heel/instep with ease of flexure for the sole near the ball of the foot. Pref. the sole components are of plastic's material.
