Abstract

The folding caravan transported in a trailer is easily erected. It has a body (1) mounted on a chassis (2) and wheels (3, 4) and a cover (6) joined to a side member (7) of the body. This connection acts as a hinge for a frame (10) supporting the roof (12, 13) held by a stay (9). A spring on the stay pivot assists in opening and closing the cover (6). Opening of the assembly is helped by the weight of this cover, as is the final positioning of the frame (10). All the parts fold below the cover when out of use.
