Abstract

Ce robinet comporte un corps 11 dans lequel est formée une chambre 18 et deux passages alignés 19, 20 qui débouchent dans la chambre par des ouvertures entourées de surfaces annulaires plates convergentes 23, 24 qui servent de supports à des sièges rapportés 33 et 34 qui cooperent avec un obturateur sphérique rotatif 12. Un mécanisme 15 comportant un écrou 53 coopérant avec le chapeau 13 du robinet et avec la tige 14 de l'obturateur 12 permet de déplacer l'obturateur dans la direction de convergence des surfaces 23, 24 pour assurer une application fortement étanche des sièges contre l'obturateur dans les positions ouverte et fermée du robinet ou dans la direction opposée pour réduire la force d'application des sièges afin de permettre un déplacement facile de l'obturateur entre les positions d'ouverture et de fermeture. Application, notamment, aux robinets utilisés dans les industries pétrolière et alimentaire.
