Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à une chenille pour véhicules à chenilles. La chenille 1 est constituée de plusieurs chaînons 2 qui sont reliés entre eux par deux pièces d'assemblage 3 logées dans des évidements 4, 5, et 6, 7 ménagés sur les bords des chaînons 2. Chaque chaînon comporte une dent 8 qui se déplace dans une rainure 9 prévue sur des roues de support 10 et dans une rainure 11 de la roue motrice 12. Un flasque 13 portant des bossages 13.1 et 13.2 est placé à chaque extrémité de chaînon. Les dents 14 de la roue motrice engrènent avec les faces des bossages 13.1 et 13.2. La présente invention est notamment applicable aux véhicules blindés lourds qui doivent pouvoir manoeuvrer sur des terrains différents.
