Abstract

Ce procédé permet de produire des bases en fonte ayant des surfaces planes très lisses et une plus longue durée de service (plus de cent coulées). Il utilise un moule formé de panneaux thermiquement isolants 14 et 18 dans un châssis de moulage 16 placé sur une plaque métallique 12. L'invention est applicable en particulier à la fabrication de lingotières pour la coulée de l'acier.
