Abstract
L'invention est du domaine de la mesure des niveaux au moyen d'ultra-sons, mesure basée sur le temps de retour de l'écho. Un transpondeur, ou émetteur-récepteur, à ultra-sons destiné à cette mesure comprend, selon l'invention, un transducteur piézo-électrique P 1 et P2 , comprimé entre une plaque de charge 16 cylindrique et une plaque radiante 17 tronconique, le transducteur étant noyé completement dans une gomme élastomère 20 et 20A à l'intérieur d'un logement 10; une telle disposition confère au transducteur une grande faculté d'amortissement permettant la mesure de distances courtes, la possibilité de rayonner suivant un pinceau étroit, et la protection à l'égard des atmosphères corrosives. Application à la mesure des niveaux de liquide notamment dans les enceintes confinées.
