Abstract
L'invention a pour but d'obtenir à bas prix un produit en forme poreux présentant des caractéristiques améliorees d'isolation thermique. On part d'un mélange de poudre de silice et d'une petite fraction de poudre de carbone qu'on soumet à une compression à sec et qu'on cuit pour obtenir un produit poreux fritté présentant une conductivité plus faible que les isolants thermiques traditionnels comme le montre la figure 2 sur laquelle la courbe de la conductivité thermique en fonction de la température est au-dessous des courbes correspondant aux isolants traditionnels. L'invention s'applique à l'utilisation des poussières de la métallurgie du silicium et du ferrosilicium.The object of the invention is to obtain at low cost a product in porous form having improved thermal insulation characteristics.
