Abstract

L'invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne. La compression et la détente du mélange combustible s'effectuent dans des cylindres séparés. Le mélange combustible ou l'air est admis dans un premier cylindre 1 et comprimé par un piston 3 dans ce cylindre. En fin de compression, on ouvre un obturateur 15 pour transférer le gaz comprimé dans un deuxième cylindre 2, puis on referme l'obturateur avant d'allumer le mélange combustible qui se détend dans le deuxième cylindre. Les pistons des cylindres fonctionnent en phase l'un avec l'autre. On améliore le rendement en augmentant la détente des gaz brûlés par rapport aux moteurs classiques.The invention relates to an internal combustion engine.
