Abstract

Perfectionnements à la fabrication d'alumine bêta, notamment destinée à servir d'électrolyte solide séparateur dans une pile ou analogue. Il est nécessaire, à la fois, de rendre maximale la proportion de variante B" pour obtenir une haute conductibilité, et d'éviter l'apparition de structures dédoublées comportant des grains oblongs dans une matrice de grains fins. A cette fin, la cuisson comporte au moins deux cycles de chauffage suivis de refroidissement, dont chacun assure un frittage partiel, prévus de façon qu'il apparaisse au cours d'un cycle quelconque au moins 5 % et plus de 95 % du retrait linéaire global. Application aux piles électrochimiques et dispositifs de conversion d'énergie analogues.
