Un câblage entrée/sortie universel 32 est connecté à de multiples modules entrée/sortie 37 semblables en fonction des connexions effectuées et d'un programme de commande Un transistor de modulation 38 est connecté à sa base à un amplificateur opérationnel qui reçoit des signaux de réglage d'état entrée/sortie à partir d'un microprocesseur.
