Abstract

The flow divider is for separating a stream of liquid having particles of entrained or suspended solids into streams having substantially uniform concentrations of solid particles therein, the flow divider comprising a cylindrical tank having an inlet passage for the liquid disposed at an upper portion of the tank and entering the same tagentially. Discharge passages to cause the peripheral portions of the liquid and solids to flow radially inwardly.
