Abstract

The gas consumption meter has a standby battery connected to its electrical supply circuit. The battery being charged by the supply. The meter has also a memory circuit and a display system. The battery is connected so as to maintain a voltage supply to the memory circuit and display circuit in case of electricity supply interruption. Thus the meter recording value at moment of interruption is maintained in readable form. The display is a liquid crystal type.
