Abstract

La présente invention est relative à la photographie en noir et blanc. Le produit photographique suivant l'invention comprend au moins une couche d'émulsion aux halogénures d'argent à laquelle sont associés 1 un développateur des halogénures d'argent à faible concentration et 2 un agent réducteur ballasté qui participe à une réaction d'oxydation croisée avec le développateur oxydé formé par le développement des halogénures d'argent, en régénérant le développateur réduit, cet agent réducteur ballasté étant présent à forte concentration, c'est-à-dire à une concentration suffisante pour obtenir la densité maximale désirée. Application à l'obtention d'images argentique développées par un activateur basique qui n'est pratiquement pas pollué par le développateur incorporé, images qui présentent de bonnes caractéristiques sensitométriques, comme le montre la figure.
