Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour l'obtention d'un fil chimique multifilamentaire étiré et tordu à partir d'un fil partiellement étiré. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste à soumettre le fil à un étirage complémentaire et à une opération de tordage et se caractérise par le fait que les opérations d'étirage et de tordage sont réalisées simultanément au moyen d'une broche double torsion tournant à une vitesse telle que la tension communiquée par la broche de torsion soit telle qu'elle provoque l'étirage du fil, après étirage et torsion, et avant renvidage, le fil en mouvement est soumis à un traitement thermique sous tension contrôlée. Application : étirage et torsion de fils à base de polyester ou de polyamide.
