Abstract

On décrit un nouveau procédé de préparation d'hydrocarbures alkylaromatiques utilisables comme lubrifiants. Les compositions d'hydrocarbures alkylaromatiques sont préparées à partir d'un hydrocarbure aromatique et d'au moins une oléfine- alpha par un procédé d'oligomérisation-alkylation dans lequel on met en contact avec un catalyseur de Friedel et Crafts, tel qu'AlCl3 , simultanément l'oléfine- alpha et une première portion d'hydrocarbure aromatique, à une température relativement basse (20-70 degrés C), puis, après élévation de la température (jusqu'à 80-110 degrés C), on introduit une seconde portion d'hydrocarbure aromatique en un temps très court (au plus quelques minutes). Ce mode opératoire permet d'obtenir des compositions d'hydrocarbures alkylaromatiques à longues chaînes avec une insaturation résiduelle et une teneur en chlore très faibles.
