Abstract

The retractable shower curtain rail consists of a bar and a support fixing it to the wall or bearing section. The support consists of an omega shaped clamp, with an angled tube part. The bar consists of a number of preferably identical sections interlocking, with the same cross-section. A flexible strap or cable made of metal or other material goes through the bar sections. One end of the cable has a stop pin. The other end of the cable passes through a ring where it is tightened by one or more screws.
